Business Intelligence Research Analyst

We're looking for an energetic, curious, analytical thinker who loves to uncover stories hidden in data. The Business Intelligence Research Analyst will be a key contributor in helping ProShares better understand how our products are used, who's investing, and where new commercial opportunities lie.

This role isn't just about numbersit's about connecting dots. You'll combine market intelligence, trading trends, and human insights to reveal the "why" behind the data. The ideal candidate brings a natural curiosity, an investigative spirit, and a passion for transforming information into meaning that drives strategy and growth.

Essential Job Functions:

• Dive deep into ETF trading and ownership data to uncover the stories behind the numbersidentifying patterns, relationships, and behaviors that shed light on how investors are engaging with our funds and the broader market.
• Synthesize insights from multiple sourcesincluding ownership filings, brokerage platform data, and third-party research toolsto reveal new business opportunities and deepen client relationships.
• Collaborate closely with Sales and Marketing to turn analytical discoveries into actionable strategieshelping teams better understand investor motivations and identify where to focus next.
• Design and maintain dynamic dashboards and reports that not only track performance but bring clarity and meaning to complex data, empowering smarter, faster decision-making across the firm.
• Champion data accuracy and integrity, ensuring that every analysis and recommendation is built on a foundation of reliable, consistent information.
• Contribute to firmwide research initiatives that enhance ProShares' understanding of investor behavior, market dynamics, and competitive trendshelping shape the intelligence that drives strategic growth.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in a data or insights-oriented role.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Strong data research and analytical skills with a curious, investigative mindset.
• Familiarity with Bloomberg, Morningstar, Broadridge, or SEC 13F data a plus.
• Strong proficiency with Excel; exposure to Power BI, SQL, or Python beneficial.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Clear communicator who can tell a compelling story through data.
• Team-oriented self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

The compensation for this position includes salary and incentive pay. The annual base salary range for this role is $60,000-$75,000 (USD), which does not include discretionary bonus compensation. Total compensation may vary based on experience, role, location, department, and individual performance.
