LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a growing and established institution looking for a skilled Buyer who is responsible for sourcing and procuring raw materials, components, and services essential to manufacturing and operational processes. The Buyer works closely with planning, production, quality, and supply chain teams to align supplier performance with organizational objectives. This role ensures timely material availability while balancing cost, quality, and delivery performance.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of relevant procurement experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience managing domestic and international purchasing, including supplier negotiations and cost control strategies.
• Familiarity with demand forecasting techniques.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with the capability to present findings clearly.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications and experience with procurement/planning ERP systems.
• Process-oriented with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Full professional fluency in written and spoken business language.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Infor LN or similar).
• Professional certifications such as CPSM or APICS.
• Knowledge of international trade terms (Incoterms).
• Experience in matrix organizations and supplier qualification processes.
