Online Inventory and Catalog Specialist



Company: Certified Flooring (CFI Installation) Location: Newport, KY (on-site, Newport on the Levee, near Cincinnati, OH) Pay: $19 to $24 per hour Schedule: 8:30am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday


Quick Summary


Certified Flooring is adding a new role at our Newport office to help manage and improve how our products show up online. This is a strong early-career opportunity for someone who enjoys detailed work, stays organized, and can keep themselves busy in a role that will evolve over time. This position is on-site in Newport. It is not a remote role.


What You Will Focus On

  • Create, update, and maintain product listings on the company website, including product data, descriptions, and assortment organization
  • Help keep online product availability aligned with actual inventory, and support improvements to how inventory is tracked and communicated
  • Support customer service needs as needed, including responding to customer emails and calls
  • Support basic product training needs by helping keep product information accurate and accessible
  • Assist with light, hands-on inventory tasks when needed, including walking product, using a ladder, moving items with a pallet jack or dolly, and helping keep inventory organized
  • Travel 1 to 2 times per month to the Columbus warehouse for the day to meet with the warehouse team and help validate inventory
What We Are Looking For
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in e-commerce, product listings, inventory, customer service, or catalog management
  • Strong attention to detail and comfort working with product information, SKUs, specs, and inventory counts
  • Comfort learning new systems and adapting as the role evolves
  • A helpful, open-minded approach, you stay productive and look for ways to improve what is around you
  • Experience with construction materials is a plus, flooring, kitchen and bath, electrical, plumbing, building products, or similar
Nice to Have
  • Experience updating product content on a website or marketplace
  • Basic spreadsheet skills, Excel or Google Sheets
