Job Description

Position Overview:
The DevOps Engineer will support Salesforce platform initiatives by designing and managing CI/CD pipelines, automating testing and deployment workflows, and ensuring stable, secure multi-tenant environments across agencies. This role partners closely with Solution Architects, Developers, QA, and governance teams to support scalable and compliant Salesforce releases.

• Anticipated Start Date : 3/9/2026 
• Anticipated Duration : 12 months 

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain Salesforce CI/CD pipelines.
• Manage environments, sandboxes, version control, and branching strategies.
• Automate deployments, rollbacks, approvals, and release validation.
• Coordinate sandbox refreshes and data seeding.
• Support multi-tenant architecture and data isolation strategies.
• Integrate automated unit and regression testing into pipelines.
• Track release metrics and deployment performance.
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and security tools (e.g., Salesforce Shield)
• Provide release readiness documentation, training, and handbooks.
• Mentor junior DevOps engineers during platform scaling initiatives.

Mandatory Qualifications:

• Level II: 7+ years of experience on complex projects.
• 2+ years in a DevOps leadership role.
• 7+ years of DevOps experience specifically on the Salesforce platform.

Desired Skills:

• 2+ years working with Salesforce Metadata API, Change Sets, Scratch Orgs, and Unmanaged Packages.
• 2+ years with Git, YAML, and pipeline scripting.
• 2+ years with Salesforce Security, Shield Encryption, and SSO configuration.
