General Job Description Bayonet Plumbing & HVAC is seeking a Dispatcher to join our team in New Port Richey, FL. Previous experience in dispatching is beneficial.
Responsibilities: - Utilize phone and computer system to dispatch technicians or field units to appropriate locations.
- Monitor the route and status of technicians, coordinating and prioritizing their schedules effectively.
- Provide technicians with job details, traffic updates, obstacles, and specific customer requirements.
- Enter data accurately into computer systems and maintain logs and records of calls, activities, and pertinent information.
- Prioritize service calls based on urgency and importance.
- Regularly communicate with customers to provide updates on scheduled appointments and ensure satisfaction.
- Collaborate effectively with office personnel.
- Contribute as a team player in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Specific Qualifications Requirements: - Excellent communication skills, including active listening and effective teamwork.
- Service-oriented mindset with the ability to resolve customer grievances.
- Previous dispatching experience is preferred.
- Proficient computer skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
