Printing Press Operator

Duties
- Set up and operate printing presses to produce high-quality printed materials
- Monitor press operations to ensure proper ink coverage, registration, and overall print quality
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on printing presses to keep them in optimal working condition
- Collaborate with design and prepress teams to ensure accurate color management and layout design
- Follow production schedules and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
- Inspect printed materials for defects and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality standards
- Maintain inventory of printing supplies and order replacements as needed
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

Experience
- Proven experience as a Press Operator or similar role in a printing environment
- Strong knowledge of printing processes, including color management, typography, and layout design
- Familiarity with different types of printing presses, such as offset, digital, or screen printing
- Proficiency in operating press machinery and performing routine maintenance tasks
- Experience with prepress processes, including file preparation and proofing
- Proficient in using Adobe Creative Suite or other graphic design software
- Ability to read and interpret job orders, blueprints, and production specifications
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to perform quality control checks
