The Investment Pricing Specialist and Complex Financial Instrument (CFI) Valuation Advisory Services Senior Associate serves as a key member of RSM Valuation Services Consulting team taking substantial responsibility in performing multiple business valuation and financial advisory engagements simultaneously. RSM's Investment Pricing service provides assurance teams security prices through use of our vendors. This dual role will be in assisting assurance teams with supporting the valuations of client portfolios in accordance with GAAP fair value requirements as described further below. In addition, the position also provides the opportunity to work in multiple areas in RSM's multi-disciplinary valuation services practice.
We offer the opportunity to work on a wide variety of challenging projects that will provide exposure to portfolio valuation, financial analysis, business and financial modeling and forecasting, and valuations. RSM's Investment Pricing Specialist supports valuations focusing on fixed income, securitized products and derivatives, including, treasury, municipal and corporate bonds, asset backed securities, options, warrants, forwards, and equity, interest rate, currency and commodity derivatives, among other derivative products. The Investment Pricing Specialist provides deep dives, variance resolutions, and other over-the-counter derivatives related to these products in accordance with Audit and PCAOB standards.
The Investment Pricing Specialist and Complex Financial Instrument (CFI) Valuation Advisory Services Senior Associate will focus on the Investment Pricing service valuations as volume permits, with additional time focused on exposure to financial analysis, business and financial modeling and forecasting, and valuations focusing on complex financial instruments and derivatives, including, convertible instruments, embedded derivatives, earn-outs, interest rate derivatives, common and preferred stock and other securities along with private debt instruments, options, warrants, and other derivative products. These services are provided to assist clients with mergers, acquisitions; venture financing and public offerings (IPOs); taxation planning and compliance; financial reporting; and strategic planning. We also support assurance and tax clients pursuant to their valuation needs.
